Course overview

This course is designed for massage therapists who want to learn how to effectively treat common pathologies of the lower extremity, including treatment of hip flexors, IT Band Syndrome, Patello-femoral Syndrome, knee tracking issues, ankle sprains, and plantar fasciitis. Relevant anatomy and physiology will be covered, along with treatment techniques such as joint mobilization, skin rolling, myofascial treatment, neuromuscular therapy, assisted stretching, and more. Special testing will be covered along with suggestions for appropriate client home care.
