Objective #1 To understand Florida Statute on Massage restrictions outside of an establishment and how that applies to providing service to clients on a private beach or event. Objective #2 To make references and resources easily accessible through a database of relevant websites for which the LMT can research and, if need be, obtain permitting. Objective #3 Highlighting affective methods of sales, marketing and client relationship management in order to streamline the process of booking. After this course, the student will be familiar with the State Statute on providing massage outside of an establishment. The student will understand their limitations on which types of beaches they can lawfully provide service on. The student will have one click access to important online resources and references as well as participation in an online, statewide community of other LMT's they can collaborate and network with. The goal of the course and private online community forum is to establish a consistent best practices resource so that Florida's LMT's are knowledgeable and not putting their licenses at risk. The student will also learn sales and marketing strategies to promote their business to Beach Resorts, Seaside Condos and Vacation Rental Management companies. The course consists of 9 Lessons and a 15 question assessment. This course is self-paced and online and may also be taught live in conjunction with relavent modality instruction such as Thai and Sports Massage CE Courses.
