Also covered is a review of pertinent sections of Florida Statutes 456 General Occupations, Healthcare, F.S. 457 Acupuncture Practice, F.S. 499 Florida Drug and Cosmetic Act - Part I and F.S. 501 Regulation of Trade, Consumer Protections. Additional information covers Florida Administrative Codes (FAC): FAC 64B1.1-12 Board of Acupuncture and FAC 64E-16 Biomedical Waste. The course concludes with a review of Acupuncture physicians responsibilities and compliance requirements under Federal Laws that regulate Health Care Consumer Protection, and Data Privacy & Security.
