Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy: Upper and Lower seminar will teach the physician how to diagnose and treat myofascial trigger points of the upper and lower extremities. Topics will include the neurology and physiology of a trigger point, anatomy and proper biomechanics of the shoulder girdle, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and ankle musculature. An in depth look on how to identify and treat each of these muscles using ischemic compression as well as strain/counter-strain techniques will be covered. If you treat pain and dysfunction from soft tissue injuries in your office, this course is a must!
