Documentation 202, Documenting Goals, is a 1 hour course designed for the clinician in need of a review of proper documentation of the goals section of the initial evaluation. This lesson will review and distinguish between participation, activity or impairment goals. Well-written goals have certain fundament characteristics, are focused on outcomes, are concrete and are measurable. The 5 essential components of a goal will also be reviewed. A review of this lesson will help to refresh expectations in documentation, maximize reimbursement and improve goal-writing skills. Upon successful completion of answering 5 interactive, multiple-choice questions, the learner will receive a certificate of completion for .1 AOTA eligible CEU’s.
