As one of the leading causes of disability in the United States, low back pain drives a considerable percentage of patients to seek medical and physical therapy services. Often, a multidisciplinary focus of care can best address the patients needs and lead to improved outcomes. This roundtable discussion aims to provide learners with a dynamic conversation and unique perspectives from physicians, both surgical and non-surgical, and physical therapists. Topics will include identifying an appropriate provider for patient needs, reviewing key components of subjective examinations, talking through specific objective tests for effective decision making and conversation surrounding appropriate treatment techniques.
