Course overview
This study looked explored treatment seeking behavior in people with opioid use disorder (OUD) in high-income countries. The meta-analysis included 13 papers published in the USA, and concluded that only one in five people with OUD was seeking treatment in the past year. Further research into barriers to seeking treatment for OUD is suggested.
