Professional ethics is concerned with the establishment and maintenance of vital and moral relationships between those individuals coming in for therapeutic treatment on the one hand, and professional therapists rendering therapeutic treatment on the other. A code of ethics offers the massage practitioner guidance in navigating the various therapeutic relationships between the client, colleagues and their community. Learn how to manage your professional relationships through better communication, individualized treatment plans, maintaining confidentiality, and establishing ethical boundaries.
