Course overview

The treatment of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears has evolved from primary repair to reconstruction, and in some specific cases, is now returning to repair. This webinar aims to discuss how treatment techniques of this common athletic injury have changed over the course of recent history, as well as current trends in treatment, including Bridge-Enhanced ACL Repairs (BEAR). This new technique utilizes a bioactive scaffold along with a suture repair to bridge the gap between each end of the torn ligament. It also has unique requirements for rehabilitation phases and patient education. Learn with us to gain further insight into rehabilitation and innovative approaches to treating ACL tears.
