Course overview
This presentation is designed to help counselors, case managers, behavioral health technicians and anyone else who works with client who have experienced trauma. We will discuss that what trauma does to the brain's fight or flight system and why client react they do when confronted with a trigger. We will look at SAMHSA's Keys to Trauma Informed Care and discuss how we can help clients without retraumatizing them.
