Course overview
Chest pain is a common complaint in the emergency department, but both emergent and non-emergent conditions present with chest pain. Emergency medical service professionals must be able to distinguish, diagnose, and treat life-threatening causes of chest pain. The goal of this course is to educate emergency medical service professionals in the prehospital setting on life-threatening, and non-life-threatening causes of chest pain, differentiation of the two, and possible treatments.
