ADHD, characterized by issues of attention, hyperactivity, impulsivity and executive function often result in interference in all areas of functioning... Putting people at odds between their values and behaviors. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) characterized by repetitive thoughts and behaviors, can be annoying at the least and tormenting at worst. And ADHD and OCD share some overlapping territory attention-shifting, flexibility, anxiety and goal-directed behaviors. Although both disorders need to be addressed, its helpful to assess which one is driving the bus.
