Course overview

Through the evolution of physical therapy practice and the laws of direct access, physical therapists (PTs) are increasingly becoming primary healthcare providers. As a result, PTs need to develop the skills to recognize serious pathologies via detailed subjective questioning, observation and physical examination techniques. This serves as a challenge to our profession and highlights the need for proper screening skills to ensure appropriate care of patients.
