Domestic Violence ( Intimate Partner Violence) Objectives: The Nurse will be able to learn the types of domestic abuse, characteristics of elder abuse, risk factors for domestic violence and strategies for health care providers to utilize when interacting with victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. Nurses will be familiarized with risk factors for Military Sexual Trauma and the Florida law regarding the role of the health care provider and suspected domestic violence.
