Types of prostate cancer, biomedical and TCM treatments, food therapy and lifestyle recommendations will be discussed. Recognizing the common biomedical causes, risk factors, diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. We look at common differentials and their associated acupuncture treatments. We will also take a look at essential basic points to include in every treatment. I will offer a method of needling REN 1 so that patient and practitioner both maintain privacy and comfort. A brief mention of food therapy and lifestyle adjustments for patients with prostate cancer.
