Course overview

This course provides health care professionals with an understanding of human trafficking, including the definition and scope of the problem in Florida, the United States and globally. Through the use of videos and case studies, you will learn how to identify human trafficking, including the risk factors and warning signs of potential human trafficking victims. The assessment of individuals who may be victims is also addressed and guidance on reporting potential cases and the supports and resources available to victims of human trafficking is provided.
