Course overview

The APTA identifies the Code of Ethics as a reflection of its core values. This course will discuss the Principles of the Physical Therapist and the Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics. The Origin story and related global events for each group's Code of Ethics will provide an interesting historical background. Patient care scenarios and case studies will be presented as examples of ethical situations for the therapist to consider in relation to these Codes of Ethics.
