Tracking # 20-1162746
Course overview
Given that weight stigma is everywhere and often deeply internalized, many therapists are not aware of how they may be stigmatizing and oppressing their higher-weight clients. In this session, Rachel Millner, PsyD, CEDS-S, CBTP(R), and fat activist will teach you how to work with higher-weight clients in a supportive and affirming way that does not perpetuate anti-fat bias. You'll develop a deeper understanding of how to create a space that is truly welcoming and affirming of higher-weight clients.
