This course discusses the standards for the safe practice of nursing in the state of Florida as written by the Florida Board of Nursing in accordance with Florida Statutes and Administrative Code. Standards for nursing education and practice are established through laws known as Nurse Practice Acts (NPAs) enacted in each state or territory. In this course, you will also learn the related terminologies used in the Nurse Practice Act, the different levels of nursing practice and scopes of practice for each, and the possible nursing violations and related disciplinary actions.
