The business of behavioral health care is in constant transition, as rules, regulations, laws, certifications, and audit processes are regularly updated. The Ohio Councils 2 day in person Compliance and Quality Conference will review administrative and clinical compliance topics necessary for quality treatment provision, including: anti trust regulations, telehealth requirements, labor and employment law updates, payer audits, documentation best practices, clinical quality metrics, Medicare changes, and best practices related to medical and recreational cannabis. Training Objectives: Participants will be able to identify potential areas of risk for behavioral health provider organizations that are most likely to trigger an audit, recommendations for best practices to avoid risk and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and will be equipped with information to prepare for an audit with various regulating entities. Participants will be provided with current information on state and federal laws impacting behavioral health organizations and the patients they serve.
