Clinicians treating cognitive rehabilitation are charged with providing evidence-based and functional tasks to comply with current best practice standards. Cognitive rehabilitation has a wide scope. Clinicians who provide cognitive rehabilitation are asked to be experts in all cognitive processes. This two-hour course will provide evidence-based, practical, and effective strategies to provide cognitive rehabilitation for patients with attention deficits. Evidence-based and functional activities focusing on attention will be provided. Learning will be enhanced by case studies. Occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and speech-language pathologists will leave this course with an arsenal of attention tasks to become an expert in treating this area of cognition.
