Smooth and coordinated motor skills are not only a product of strong motor planning but also of sensory integration to elicit a coordinated motor response (Martel, et al., 2022). Motor planning delays can present in a variety of patterns from general discoordination or specific motor deficits such as gross, oral, or fine motor delays.
