Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is the most common cause of vertigo in patients with peripheral vestibular disorders. While the overall incidence of BPPV in the general population is only around 2.5 percent 50 percent of older adults are affected by this condition. However a significant number of patients can experience a rapid reduction in symptoms with appropriate treatment. This course will take you through how to identify the location of a patients BPPV and how to optimally manage this client group.
