The five most common types of chronic wounds include arterial ulcers venous insufficiency ulcers neuropathic wounds pressure injuries and non-healing surgical wounds. This course continues to build on the foundation set in the first course of the Physiotherapy Wound Care Programme by introducing the learner to the most common types of wounds treated in wound care clinics.
