General Management of Paediatric Pain Problems
Tracking # 20-1167124
Course overview
Children who have chronic pain might experience adverse physical emotional social and academic outcomes. A multi-tiered approach is essential to effectively treat these children. The central goals of treatment are to teach children to identify what provokes their pain and to learn self-management strategies. This course begins by describing the Protectometer which helps children distinguish between feelings of danger and safety. Once a child is able to discern their thoughts and feelings interventions can be implemented to facilitate self-management. Physiopedia Plus courses are accessed through a monthly ($31) or yearly ($237) membership. Use discount code CEBROKER30 to get 30% discount on yearly full or pro membership.
