Gross Motor Milestones in Infants 0-14 Months
Tracking # 20-1167140
Course overview
Motor development describes how a child develops or acquires movement patterns and skills. These movements and skills enable infants to explore and interact with the world around them. Motor skills can be broken down into gross and fine motor skills. Infants require gross motor skills to perform everyday functional activities such as rolling sitting crawling and walking. Each new skill or milestone builds on the previous skill. While skill acquisition typically follows a specific trajectory each baby acquires skills at their own pace. This course will walk you through the gross motor milestones of an infant aged 0 to 14 months. Physiopedia Plus courses are accessed through a monthly ($31) or yearly ($237) membership.
