Between the ages of 7 and 24 months infants and toddlers use their hands in various ways to learn about their physical environment. As they move through this period their skills become more refined and they use a variety of hand grasps to manipulate and interact with objects. This course will discuss two important concepts to keep in mind when considering the development of hand function.
