The role of physiotherapists in physical activity extends beyond exercise prescription during rehabilitation. It encompasses promoting physical activity with all the patients you encounter as well as within your community at large. During this course you will come to understand considerations for exercise prescription consider adherence by looking at barriers to exercise and how we might motivate people to be more physically active explore how to measure and quantify physical activity and learn how to integrate physical activity into clinical practice and encourage physical activity in larger populations at a community level.
