- Explain how insulin resistance and changes in the American diet contribute to obesity-related chronic disease.
- Identify how GLP-1 medications are used to manage obesity and discuss their role in interprofessional treatment planning.

This course is intended for an inter-professional audience, including nurses and other healthcare professionals. The course provides 10 general hours on the topics of obesity and nutrition. For Florida Nurse Practitioners, the hours are also coded for Autonomous Practice CE.
