Tracking # 20-1168012
Course overview
Mortons neuroma also known as Civinini Mortons Syndrome (CMS) and interdigital neuritis is a painful foot condition associated with neural degeneration and perineural fibrosis. Key clinical symptoms are pain and altered forefoot sensation. Among the conservative treatment options are footwear modification orthotics modalities such as extracorporeal shockwave therapy and transcutaneous electrical stimulation (TENS) and lifestyle adjustments. Other treatments include surgery or ultrasound-guided percutaneous injections. In this course Helene Simpson discusses the most effective physiotherapy interventions for Morton's neuroma.
