Infants in neonatal intensive care units (NICU) are at risk of developmental behavioural and physiologic issues and require specialised care. Neonatal physiotherapists are highly specialised clinicians who work in these units and also in outpatient practice. They work closely with the interdisciplinary team to optimise outcomes for newborns. This course explores the physiotherapist's role in neonatal assessment.
