Treating the Athlete: Inter-Event Sport Massage equips participants with the knowledge and hands-on techniques required for delivering inter-event sport massage therapy. It prepares practitioners to provide effective manual therapy to athletes between events. Explore the advantages, precautions, and contraindications relevant to inter-event sport massage. The course also covers vital considerations for providing on-site care to athletes during the intervals between events. This training is a collaboration between Dexterity PD and the Canadian Sport Massage Therapists Association (CSMTA). The CSMTA provides the most rigorous training and certification in the world for working with athletes and is an Allied Health member of the World Federation of Athletic Training & Therapy (WFATT). This online training is equivalent to the Inter-Event Sport Massage content of the CSMTA Allied Practitioners 1-day course "Sport Event Massage".
