Treating the Athlete: Pre-Event Sport Massage equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to administer on-site sport massage treatments tailored to the pre-event phase. It prepares practitioners to deliver secure and effective manual therapy before games and training sessions. Delve into the advantages, precautions, and contraindications of pre-event sport massage. The course also addresses special considerations unique to athletes about to engage in competition or training. This training is a collaboration between Dexterity PD and the Canadian Sport Massage Therapists Association (CSMTA). The CSMTA provides the most rigorous training and certification in the world for working with athletes and is an Allied Health member of the World Federation of Athletic Training & Therapy (WFATT). This online training is equivalent to the Pre-Event Sport Massage content of the CSMTA Allied Practitioners 1-day course "Sport Event Massage".
