Evaluation and Treatment of Medial Elbow Pathology
Tracking # 20-1172288
Course overview
Though it does not receive the same attention as its lateral-sided counterpart, medial elbow pathology can be difficult to treat as it can stem from a variety of etiologies. This course unpacks the anatomy of the medial elbow to understand what structures could be involved. It then delves into how to complete a systematic exam of the elbow, including special tests for differential diagnosis. The course then tackles interpreting the exam findings to develop a treatment plan. Comprehensive treatment will be discussed for musculotendinous issues, capsuloligamentous issues, and cubital tunnel syndrome. This course is designed for occupational therapists and physical therapists who treat elbow conditions.
