Course overview

This webinar will start with a general review and update on cervical glandular lesions. Then, a case-based format will be used to present 6-8 cases of glandular lesions on Pap smears. Each case will be presented in the way that it was handled in actual practice including: work-up of the case, and histologic and clinical followup. Cytomorphologic features and differential diagnoses of the discussed entity will be reviewed with illustrative examples; as well as management plans. After discussion of each case, important learning points from the case will be given and there will be opportunity for questions. TARGET AUDIENCE This educational activity is designed for pathologists, cytopathologists, cytotechnologists, students and other members of the cytopathology community. LEARNING OBJECTIVES Recognize characteristic cytomorphologic features of glandular lesions on Pap smears according to the Bethesda reporting system Understand the clinical management guideline for atypical glandular lesions diagnosed on Pap smears Learn from cytologic-histologic correlation on selected cases
