Course overview

Objectives of this course include: 1. Understand the application of the Michigan Part 8 Electrical Rules. 2. Learn about the organization of articles and sections within articles of the NEC. 3. Practice finding answers to electrical questions from the 2023 NEC. 4. Know the qualifications to take the State of Michigan Journey Electrician Examination. 5. Understand the State Public Acts and administrative rules that regulate electrical wiring in Michigan. 6. Be able to apply Ohms Law, power law to any single-phase or three-phase circuit. 7. Solve for current, voltage and power for transformers, identify common electrical systems.
