Course overview
Available as home study, online course, (live online broadcast and live seminar by request). The module discusses three of the six classifications of psychoactive drugs (hallucinogens, narcotics, and inhalants) including medical uses, street names, signs, and symptoms of low, moderate, and high doses, and including long term effects. Statistical information on costs to society including, crimes, traffic consequences, social problems, and health concerns are discussed throughout the class. Finally, a supplemental section on designer drugs, club drugs, steroid abuse, over the counter and prescription drugs is provided.
