Course overview

This course provides rehabilitation therapists with the knowledge and skills to work effectively with the interprofessional team to provide high-quality, culturally responsive care to all patients, regardless of their background or identity. Cultural humility can sometimes feel overwhelming, and this course empowers you with tools to understand how bias and discrimination impact team dynamics and patients' healthcare outcomes. After taking this course, you will be able to self-assess your own implicit biases, determine whether your biases impact building a connection with patients, and implement best practices to provide inclusive care.
