Course overview
Purpose: The annual Alamo City Ophthalmology Clinical Conference is designed to be an important forum of current, state-of-the art information on clinical care and basic eye research issues. Time: This year the conference will be held on April 15, 2023. Location: Hosted by the University of Texas Health San Antonio. Format: 17 lectures, which are each ten minutes long, on specific topics plus two, one-hour lectures given by guest lecturers. One of the hour-long lectures will cover Ethics. This equals four clock hours and 50 clock minutes of therapeutic Continuing Education and one clock hour of Ethics. Audience: The audience will include ophthalmology residents, fellows, full-time faculty (including MDs, DOs, ODs, technicians and PhDs) clinical faculty, community vision care practitioners (including MDs, DOs and ODs), vision researchers and Health Center technical support staff. The audience varies between seventy and one hundred people.
