Tracking # 20-1177336
Course overview
The International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) established standardized terminology to describe texture-modified foods and thickened liquids. In this course, speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists will learn the IDDSI framework, including the definitions and methods to measure the level of food and drink for adults. Examples demonstrate best practices for interprofessional collaboration. Techniques to modify foods and drinks to achieve a target IDDSI level are outside the scope of this course.
