Course overview
Rates of myopia are on the rise, and the rate of high myopia with pathological implications is also on the rise. Dioptric power, while important from a subjective standpoint, is not the most reliable indicator of pathology associated with advanced myopia. This educational presentation will emphasize the importance of axial length measurement in myopia management, discuss the methods for acquiring this information, and demonstrate ways to use this information to benefit the management of myopia.
