Course overview
The Ethical, Legal, and Practice Standards domain of case management consists of information related to a common code of ethics and professional standards. Fundamental knowledge includes ethical principles, case management and care processes, and legal considerations. Case managers use these essential concepts in various care settings. This domain also covers clients' rights to privacy, mandatory reporting, ethical decision-making, and communication. This course aims to inform nurses about the ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice, which will help maintain the integrity of nursing case management. The goal of this course is to help prepare nurses to sit for case management certification.
