Course overview

This course, taught by Timothy Andersen, will help appraisers avoid claims. Appraisers will learn the methodology for creating a "bullet-proof workfile," and how certain elements of the workfile protect appraisers the from state regulators and plaintiffs, while showing compliance with USPAP. The course covers common charges states bring up against appraisers, and reviews examples of cases. The course will also review the contract, neighborhood sections of the appraisal report, and the 1004 form to ensure thoroughness and prevent liability.
