.5 hour course on cultural awareness and competence as it relates to nursing practice, specifically discussing the need for appropriate interpreters so that patients' concerns and questions may be fully addressed and understood, discussed specific need for thoughtfulness and sensitivity in regards to a patient's religious and cultural beliefs and the overall need to find out and know
