This course has been awarded 8.0 ANCC Contact Hours and 0.8 IACET CEUs and is intended for Nurse Practitioners and all other healthcare prescribers who have a DEA registration number to prescribe controlled substances, as well as medical residents who prescribe controlled substances under a facility DEA registration number. This program satisfies the one-time eight-hour Federal training requirement. The deadline for satisfying this new eight hour training requirement is the date of a practitioners next scheduled DEA registration submission, regardless of whether it is an initial registration or a renewal registration, on or after June 27, 2023.
