This brief publication provides data on the influences of parents on their adolescents, addressing issues such as parental monitoring and health behaviors. Learning Objectives: 1. Evaluate the research on teens’ experiences in their families among various social groups and identify where disparities exist. 2. Evaluate the implications of the current research on parenting and policy.
