Conference on Caring: Fostering compassion throughout Generations

Course overview

The organization plans to provide CEU credits to healthcare students, and practitioners in the local region working with hospitals and medical practices. The training is a face-to-face facilitated conference with multiple break-out sessions. Alpha Umi, developer of the 5G Leadership Skills, Edge program has extensive experience in transitioning the engaging and transformative training experience of the in-person classroom to a virtual classroom experience. 5G Leadership Skills addresses the top soft skills necessary for nursing and other health care professionals. 5G is about the five adult generations. The 5G Leadership Skills curriculum consists of four hours of in-person training covering 14 workshops that address the top soft and interpersonal skills needed in the industry today. This research-based or empirically driven program focuses on two leadership skills sectors, Brave Conversations and Leadership Essentials. There will be twelve sessions within these categories from the 5G Edge Series, My Outward Impression, Collaborative Environment, Self-Care, and Career Success. Facilitators of the 5G Leadership Skills program are required to acquire their 5G Certified Facilitator certification. Bay Care Behavior Health representatives will prepare students and licensed practitioners in Mental Wellness. Earning one CEU. A Path to Wellness Track includes Mindfulness Meditation, Aroma Therapy, and Holistic Healing with Self-care. Earning one CEU for each category.
