Lifting & Moving Patients

Course overview

As an EMS provider, we constantly find ourselves in situations where we need to move a patient from point A to point B. This may involve moving a patient from the floor to our stretcher, from the hospital bed to our stretcher, or even just helping the patient off the floor and into their own chair on what we frequently call a lift assist.
