This course provides information to help care professionals understand what is considered an incident, how to document and report incidents, and why documentation of incidents is important. Objectives: -Discuss the types of events that would be considered incidents in the healthcare setting. -Identify the important information to include when documenting an incident. -Describe the role that incident reports have in improving client care and promoting safety.
