Course overview
The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge about ECGs, their purpose, proper steps in obtaining an accurate ECG, and when intervention is indicated. Course objectives: 1) Understand the principles of ECGs and their purpose as a diagnostic tool. 2) Describe how to obtain an accurate ECG. 3) Identify basic arrhythmias and dysrhythmias. 4) Recognize the symptoms of acute coronary syndrome and the importance of rapid ECG evaluation.
